Having represented the Royal Navy in rugby and the UK Armed Forces (UKAF) in weightlifting, as well as competing in multiple different sports. A Life in Rugby and Strength Training

Since I was 5 years old, rugby has shaped my athletic journey. From grassroots to representing the Royal Navy, I’ve seen firsthand how critical programming is to success. The strength, speed, and endurance needed to excel in rugby isn’t developed by chance, this is built through smart, structured training. Alongside rugby, I’ve been deeply involved in CrossFit for over 7 years and weightlifting for 6 years, disciplines where proper programming is the difference between progress and stagnation.

Coaching and Instruction: From Lifter to Leader

With over 5+ years of coaching and instructing in weightlifting, CrossFit, swimming, and Strength & Conditioning (S&C), I’ve worked with athletes at all levels. I’ve seen how my tailored programmes can transform someone’s performance, whether they're aiming for a new personal best or preparing for competition. My focus is always on creating programmes that meet the unique needs of each athlete, ensuring steady progress and real results.

The Next Challenge: Nutrition and Diabetic Control

As I continue to develop my expertise, my latest challenge is becoming a Level 4 Nutritionist, specialising in diabetic control in sports environments. This new chapter will combine my coaching knowledge with advanced nutrition strategies, helping athletes manage their health while excelling in their sport. Much like refining a skill, even minor, calculated changes in nutrition can produce major gains in performance and well-being.
